A temporary consular office has been set up in Stuttgart to cater for the 10,000 fans travelling for next month's Republic of Ireland versus Germany European Championships qualifier game.

Officials fromt the Department of Foreign Affairs will help replace lost or stolen travel documents as well assisting in cases where Irish citizens are arrested by police or are victims of accidents or injuries.

The consular office will open on Thursday, August 31st, until Monday, September 4th, including extended weekend opening hours.
