Thirty-four pubs in Ireland have been included in the 2015 Michelin Eating Out In Pubs Guide.
In the Republic all of the 27 pubs listed retain their Michelin status with no change since last year.
In Northern Ireland, among the seven pubs noted is one new entry from Co Antrim.
In overall terms, counties Cork and Down share the honours with six listings each followed by Clare, with four listings, and Mayo with three. Galway, Kerry and Kildare each received two listings .
Dublin, Leitrim, Louth, Sligo, Tipperary, Westmeath, Wexford, Antrim and Wicklow have one mention each.
Deasy’s in Clonakilty, Toddies at The Bulman in Kinsale and the Wild Honey Inn in Lisdoonvarna each received an Inspector’s Favourite commendation, described in the guide as “establishments worthy of additional consideration”.
This year’s edition recommends some 590 pubs across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland of which 70 are new entries – selected “first and foremost, for the quality of their food”.
The guide’s editor, Rebecca Burr, said “the standard of food being served in Irish pubs continues to reach new heights.”
