Unfortunately, Ireland is dominated by British retail. But this problem isn't just confined to British retail. Prices in Zara and Massimo Dutti are higher in Ireland than they are in other European countries. It's just not as transparent. Even shops that display prices in several currencies on the label don't stick to the exchange rate of the day either. – Laura
I bought a 24-pack of Nurofen in Ayamonte in Spain on January 2nd this year for €2.50. Currently costs €7.89 in Enniscorthy – it's January 13th. Honestly, €2.50 versus €7.89!!!! The head would need to be pretty wrecked! How could this be? – Tim Morissey
