Soon afterwards, the people at Fast Fix Jewellery Watch Repairs, which has recently opened in Dublin's Stephen's Green Shopping Centre, got in touch offering to make her a replacement based on photographs of the ring at no cost, an offer we understand she has been more than willing to accept.
