A new Cork-based regional airline plans to create more than 140 jobs through the provision of a new air services to the UK and Europe.
Jetmagic said it would create 145 new jobs in the Cork region.The airline plans to offer frequent direct jet services to and from European business capitals and generate increased inbound tourism.
Jetmagic also announced that it will operate a fleet of Embraer 135 Regional Jets, equipped with Rolls-Royce engines and can seat 37 passengers.
The airline, which is backed by a number of Cork-based investors, has raised private equity in excess of euro 5 million, with an option of further fundraising in the future.
