GAA team news:Cork will field three newcomers when the Munster champions attempt to knock All-Ireland winners Tipperary off their perch as the hurling championship sparks into life this Sunday.

Blooded in the league, Stephen McDonnell and William Egan will be deployed in a new-look backline while manager Denis Walsh also hands Luke O'Farrell his first championship start at corner forward.

Lorcán McLoughlin and Pa Cronin are set to form a partnership in midfield for the first time as Walsh makes seven changes from the side that bowed out against Kilkenny at the semi-final stage last year.
