The West Cork Natural Cheese Company has won the top award in the Irish Food Writers' Guild annual food awards for three cheeses, Gabriel, Desmond and Mizen, produced from unpasteurised milk on the Mizen Peninsula.
The judges praised producers Mr Bill Hogan and Mr Sean Perry for their dedication to ecologically sound farming.
