AIL round-up:Cork Constitution moved back to the top of AIB League Division 1A with a bonus-point win over UL Bohemians at Thomond Park that relegates their hosts.
Con ran in five tries in all with Richie Lane contributing two and notching four conversions for a personal haul of 18 points.
Stephen Archer, David O’Driscoll and Tom Gleeson also crossed for the Cork side, while Harry de Stacpoole was the homeside’s only scorer.
That result was a welcome one for Blackrock who eased their own relegation concerns with an 18-11 win over Garryowen at Dooradoyle.
Andrew Conway and Mick Carroll both touched for ‘Rock, while Ian Madigan and Darragh Fitzpatrick added a conversion and two penalties respectively.
Garryowen’s scores came from a Frank McKenna try and two Gerry hurley penalties but the gap between them and sixth-placed Blackrock has now been closed to one.
In Division Two, Bruff secured promotion to 1B with a one-point win over Malone at Kilballyowen Park.
Lansdowne suffered a shock defeat to Old Crescent at Rosbrien, while there were wins for Corinthians and Terenure College.
