A CORK doctor has charged with illegally having ammunition for a gun, obtaining money by false pretences, and handling stolen property.

Dr James Barry (71) from St Mary's, Farrenlea Grove, Bishopstown, Cork, was charged in Cork District Court yesterday. He will contest the charges when the case comes before the court again next Thursday, when a date for a full hearing will be set.
