Cork hurler Sean Og O' hAilpín is in a comfortable condition at Cork Regional Hospital having suffered a knee injury when a car he was driving was involved in a collision with another vehicle in Nenagh, Co Tipperary last night.

O' hAilpín was admitted to Cork Regional hospital and underwent a medical examination this morning.It is believed there were four passengers in the other vehicle involved in the incident.

Cork PRO, Pat Horgan, confirmed to ireland.comthat "the full extent of Sean's injuries will not be known until much later tonight. . . it is too early to say whether or not he will need crutches"

"He is certainly out of this weekend’s championship match against Limerick.We will have to wait and see if Cork progress to the Munster semi-final before we can comment on his fitness for that game.
