Cork football and hurling managers Conor Counihan and Gerald McCarthy have resisted the changes many anticipated ahead of their respective games this weekend.

McCarthy has, therefore, retained Diarmuid O'Sullivan at fullback for the semi-final clash with Kilkenny at Croke Park on Sunday.

Neil Ronan is again held in reserve despite a hugely impressive cameo the last day when his two scores from play hammered shut the Clare coffin in the quarter-final.

Counihan has made one slight positional change for the football quarter-final against Kildare, with Nicholas Murphy named at right wing forward but expected to operate in midfield to allow captain Graham Canty operate as the free man in front of defence.
