All-Ireland champions Cork hand Conor Cusack, brother of goalkeeper Donal Og, his hurling league debut for Sunday's second round clash with Munster rivals Waterford at Pairc Ui Rinn.
In all there are four changes from the team that drew with Offaly on the opening day.
Cusack starts at left corner forward in a reshuffled team that sees Shane O’Neill, Graham Callinan, Ronan Conway and Timmy McCarthy all drop to the bench.
Tom Kenny, Brian Murphy and Kevin Hartnett come into the side.
Wexford welcome back star defender Darragh Ryan for the game against Clare in Ennis.
The All Star will make his first inter-county start of the season and, indeed, his first since last year’s All-Ireland quarter-final against the same opponents.
Ryan’s inclusion means David O'Connor, who started at full back in the defeat to Waterford last week, is pushed to centre-back in place of Declan Ruth who has a hamstring injury.
Galway make two personnel changes from the team beaten by Antrim last week for Sunday’s clash with Limerick at Pearse Stadium.
Kevin Brady replaces David Donoghue in the half-forward line while in defence Colin Coen starts at corner back and Ger Mahon moves to wing-back in place of David Hayes.
Manager Conor Hayes is still without his Portumna and Salthill players as they prepare for the All-Ireland club hurling and football finals on St Patrick’s day.
