Team news: Patrick Horgan comes into the Cork line-up in place of Tommy McCarthy as manager Gerald McCarthy's only change ahead of this Sunday's All-Ireland SHC quarter-final showdown with Clare at Semple Stadium.
The manager is also expected to start Joe Deane at full forward after scoring four points during last weekend's Galway win. Concerns for Deane arose after he was seen on crutches after the win.
Several positional changes were also made as Pa Cronin switches wings, while Ben O'Connor remains at right half forward along with Niall McCarthy and Cronin.
Donál Óg Cusack returns to the Cork goal after being sent-off last Saturday for two yellow cards.
