The removal will take place this evening of a Waterford hurler who died during a league game on Saturday night.
Mr Kieran Clancy (31) collapsed on the pitch at Kirwan Park in Touraneena, just minutes before the end of the game between his team, Ballysaggart, and St Mary's of Touraneena.
He was taken by ambulance to Waterford Regional Hospital but pronounced dead on arrival.
An investigation into the death is continuing, but early indications suggested a heart attack.
Mr Clancy, who married his wife, Úna, last year, was a carpenter and came from a well-known GAA family in Coole, Ballysaggart, near Lismore. He has two brothers and one sister.
His parents, Michael and Breda, are prominent members of the GAA. Michael had been a very successful player in his youth, while Mrs Clancy is active in fund-raising activities.
Yesterday Mr Paddy Joe Ryan, the Waterford County Board chairman, said the community was reeling from the tragic death.
"Kieran comes from a very respected family that is steeped in GAA. Every GAA person from Passage East to Ballyduff is devastated by this," he said. "He was a fine sportsman and a very popular fellow."
Mr Clancy's removal will take place from his home to St Mary's Church in Ballysaggart at 7 p.m. this evening. Requiem Mass will be at 12 noon tomorrow, followed by the burial at the adjoining cemetery.
