London - A florist collapsed in court yesterday as he and his wife were found guilty of stealing flowers from a cemetery in a crime which the judge likened to "lifting the lid off a coffin".
David Scott (61) and his wife Mary (45) were convicted at Durham Crown Court of four charges of taking floral tributes from the garden of remembrance at Preston cemetery in North Shields.
