A libel action by broadcaster Pat Kenny against Independent Newspapers following an article by Eamon Dunphy was struck out in the High Court yesterday.
Mr Justice Moriarty struck out the action on the application of Mr Michael Kealey, solicitor, for the newspaper. The case was withdrawn following settlement. It is believed that Mr Kenny was seeking damages of £150,000.
