Bohemians 2 Bray Wanderers 0:Raffaele Cretaro relieved the pressure around Dalymount Park as he scored twice to give Bohemians
a morale boosting win over Bray Wanderers.
A first victory in four games may not raise the overall gloom around the financially troubled club. But it does lift Pat Fenlon’s side up to third place in the table, five points behind leaders Shamrock Rovers.
Bohemians got the lead they deserved on 32 minutes when Ken Oman’s headed clearance ran though for Cretaro who used his pace and guile to outwit the Bray defence and beat Gregg with a low drive from just outside the box.
Cretaro remained Bohs livelest player and had loud appeals for a penalty waved away by referee Tom Connolly in the second half. Four minutes later he sealed perhaps Bohemians biggest win of the season.
