The European Network of Councils of the Justice has celebrated its 10th anniversary in Rome, where its president, Mr Justice Paul Gilligan, was received by Italian president Giorgio Napolitano.
The network comprises councils for the judiciary from 20 EU member states and 16 observer members. It works closely with the European Commission and has issued declarations of good practice.
