Key challenges within the legal profession due to the economic downturn and technology, as well as global regulatory and competition issues, will be on the agenda as the American Bar Association’s section of international law comes to the Convention Centre in Dublin from October 11th to 15th, for its autumn meeting.

The opening plenary session at 11am on Wednesday October 12th will be addressed by President Mary McAleese, which will be followed by a luncheon with former president and former United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mary Robinson.

On October 13th, former Chief Justice Mr Justice John Murray will speak during the session, from 12.45pm-2.15pm.
