The body of a man in his 30s has been found at a house in Co Meath.

Garda detectives were alerted to the discovery of the body in Mooretown, Ratoath at 11.45am on Wednesday.

When they went there, officers found the body, with head injuries, lying at the gable end of the house.

The body was taken to the morgue in Navan General Hospital. The office of the State Pathologist was notified and a postmortem was carried out on Thursday.
