Two people have been arrested after gardaí seized cannabis and cocaine valued at more than €2 million in Dublin.

The drugs were found during a search at a premises at Donaghmede Park on Saturday at about 7.30pm. A technical examination was carried out at the scene.

About 300kg of cannabis resin, 8kg of cannabis herb and 1kg of cocaine were found during the operation, which gardaí said was part of an ongoing inquiry into drug supply in north Dublin.

Two men, aged 25 and 52, were arrested at the scene and are being held at Coolock and Clontarf Garda stations under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act.
