Cannabis plants worth an estimated €400,000 have been discovered by gardaí at a ‘grow house’ in south west Dublin.

A search was carried out at a house in Firhouse by gardaí attached to Rathfarnham Garda station at a house at Wood Dale Crescent, Firhouse, on Tuesday.

Some 550 cannabis plants at various stages of growth were discovered, a Garda spokesman said.

The seizure has a street value, subject to analysis, of €400,000.

“The scene is currently being technically examined and the investigation is ongoing. There have been no arrests,” the spokesman added.
