Cannabis resin and plants with a combined estimated street value of more than €1.3 million have been seized in separate operations by gardaí in Dublin and Co Meath.
Two men in their thirties were arrested on Saturday evening after cannabis resin with an estimated street value of €600,000 was found during a search of a car and truck in Finglas.
Gardaí seized 100 kilograms of cannabis resin and over 40 thousand prescription drugs.
It is unclear if the prescription drugs are authentic.
The two suspects are being questioned under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act (1996) at Finglas Garda station.
In a separate operation on Saturday morning gardaí in Co Meath, uncovered cannabis plants with an estimated street value of up to €750,000 in a warehouse in Co Meath.
One man in his forties has been arrested and is being questioned at Kells Garda station.
