Donegal Senator has drink-driving case adjourned

Fianna Fáil’s Brian Ó Domhnaill also accused of failing to report a hit-and-run occurrence

A case of alleged drink-driving against Donegal Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill has been adjourned again until March 16th.

Senator Ó Domhnaill (38), from Killult, Falcarragh, Co Donegal, did not appear at Letterkenny District Court this morning.

The charges against Mr Ó Domhnaill include drink-driving, failing to report a a hit-and-run occurrence, failing to remain at a hit-and-run scene, and failing to give appropriate information on a hit-and-run occurrence.

The incident is alleged to have taken place at Tullygay outside Letterkenny, Co Donegal on September 2nd, 2013.
