A man in his 60s was killed when his van collided with an articulated truck in Co Monaghan today.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to the crash which took place on the N2 south of Emyvale.
The driver of the van was pronounced dead at the scene.
The scene has been closed for examination by forensic crash investigators. Diversions are in place.
