Ecstasy tablets valued at €1m and cannabis herb worth €700k discovered in Donabate

A man has been arrested following the discovery of drugs with an estimated street value of €1.7 million in Sublin.

Ecstasy tablets with an estimated value of €1 million were seized along with cannabis herb worth €700,000.

The drugs were recovered during a raid on a house in The Strand, Donabate today.

A 36-year-old man was subsequently arrested and is being detained at Mountjoy Garda Station under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
