Four people have been arrested by gardaí investigating a serious assault in Dublin in the early hours of last Sunday morning.
The assault on a man in his 20s occurred at Lamb Alley in Dublin 8.
The injured man was discovered with serious head injuries and was removed to St James’ Hospital and subsequently transferred to Beaumont, where he remains in a serious condition.
Two men and two women in their twenties were arrested this morning in connection with the assault and are being held at Irishtown, Pearse Street, Kevin Street and Kilmainham garda stations.
