Four men arrested in connection with the seizure of cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €376,000 in Dublin are due in court tomorrow.
A Garda spokesman said officers from the Finglas Drugs Unit searched three properties at Meakstown Close, Finglas yesterday and discovered the drugs.
Four supects - aged 26, 33, 36 and 42 - were arrested and are being held at
Finglas and Blanchardstown Garda stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
The four men are expected to appear before a sitting of Blanchardstown District Court tomorrow.
“These operations use advanced analytical and intelligence methods to disrupt criminals and dismantle their networks,” the Garda spokesman said in a statement. “Drug seizures play a critical role in targeting the livelihood of criminals and reducing their ability to carry out illegal activities.
“Drug seizures also help protect communities from the devastating impact of drugs and the associated criminality.”
