Gardaí looking for female witness to assault and robbery of man in his 40s in Cork city

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a robbery which happened in Cork city on September 21st.

In particular they want to speak with a woman who witnessed the incident and alerted gardaí.

A man in his 40s was assaulted and robbed by two other men on Railway Lane, off Brian Boru Street at about 3.35pm when he was walking towards St Patrick’s Church.

Gardaí have asked anyone with information to contact the Mayfield Garda Station on 021 4558510.
