Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a woman drove into the front of a house in Finglas causing extensive damage to the property early this morning.

The driver fled the scene after the crash on St Margaret’s Road.

Nobody was in the house at the time, but a window and a wall was badly damaged in the incident.

Gardaí released photographs of the damage and issued an appeal to the driver to contact them.

Gardaí are asking the driver or anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them at Finglas Garda station on 01 666 7500.
