Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked and robbed near Christchurch early this morning.
The man, who is in his late 30s, was assaulted by another man near Christchurch Place/Fishamble Street at about 2am.
He was discovered by gardaí on Fishamble Street and removed to St James’s Hospital for treatment.
Gardaí at Kevin Street have asked anyone who may have been in the area at that time and and who witnessed the incident, or who can assist with the investigation, to contact them at 01-6669400, on the Garda Confidential Telephone Line at 1800 666 111 or at any Garda station.
