Hazardous medication stolen from vet’s surgery in Dublin

Medicine extremely dangerous and can be lethal if taken orally or injected by humans

Gardaí in Crumlin are investigating the theft of dangerous substances during a burglary on Walkinstown road.

The burglary occurred at a veterinary surgery on Walkinstown Road, Dublin 12, on Wednesday night.

During the burglary 8 x 100ml quantities of Dolethal, a veterinary medicine used by veterinary surgeons to administer euthanasia to animals, was taken.

This medicine is extremely dangerous and can be lethal if taken orally or injected by humans.
