Children's Ombudsman to speak at UL event
The Irish Women Lawyers Association is organising a talk by the Children’s Ombudsman, Emily Logan, on “Moving to a culture of respect for children in Ireland” on Thursday in Millstream Common Room, University of Limerick, from 6pm to 7.30pm.

Police accountability
The Socio-Legal Research Centre at Dublin City University will host its fourth seminar in its “The Law on . . .” series on Wednesday, November 14th at 6.30pm on the theme “The law on police accountability”.
The speakers at the seminar will be Garda Ombudsman Commissioner Kieran FitzGerald, former president of the Garda Representative Association Damien McCarthy and Prof Dermot Walsh of the University of Limerick. The event is free of charge but prior registration is requested by emailing mark.coen@dcu.ie.
