The eighth prison law seminar, hosted by the Irish Penal Reform Trust with the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association and the Irish Criminal Bar Association, will take place at 5.30pm on Thursday in the Distillery Building, Church Street, Dublin.

It will be given by barrister Caoilfhionn Gallagher, a leading prison law practitioner with Doughty Street Chambers in London and co-author on the Oxford University Press textbook on the Human Rights Act, Blackstone's Guide.

She will speak on the topic, “Creative Use of Legal Instruments: Current Prison Law Developments in England and Wales.”

The seminar qualifies for 1.5 continuing personal or professional development points and costs €20, €10 for students. More information from info@iprt.ie
