Man (40) arrested in relation to Patricia O’Connor murder

Gardaí in Bray investigating the murder of Patricia O’Connor have made a further arrest in relation to the case.

A 40-year-old man was arrested Tuesday morning and is being detained at Bray Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984

The scattered remains of 61-year-old Patricia O’Connor were found in the Wicklow Mountains on June 15th this year. She had been reported missing two weeks earlier. It is believed she was killed at her Rathfarnham home between May 29th and 30th.

Earlier this year Kieran Green (32) was charged with Ms O’Connor’s murder, and remanded in custody to appear this month at Cloverhill District Court. Three further arrests were made in relation to the case, but all three were later released.
