A man was arrested to appear in court in Balbriggan after a gang of males were seen on top of a shop in Lusk, north Co Dublin.
Gardaí said they received reports on Wednesday night of a number of men on top of the Village Store in Lusk.
When they arrived on the scene the men jumped off the roof and fled. One man was apprehended and was due to appear in Balbriggan District Court in connection with the incident at 10.30am Thursday morning.
Gardaí said the investigation is ongoing.
