A man has been arrested in Co Meath after shots were fired at a house in Kells.
The incident occurred in the Archdeaconery area of the town on Saturday afternoon. Nobody was injured in the incident.
The man, in his late 40s, was arrested on Sunday afternoon, gardai said.
A firearm was recovered during a follow up search in the Carrick Street area of Kells.

The man is being detained at Kells Garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
