Man arrested in connection with Sligo ATM theft

A man has been arrested in connection with the theft in January of an ATM in Tubbercurry, Co Sligo.

Gardaí investigating the incident arrested the 42-year-old man yesterday. He was charged at Ballymote Garda station and appeared before a special sitting of Carrick-on-Shannon District Court this afternoon.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Hartstown District Court, Castlerea, at 10.30am on August 22nd.
