Man held over 1998 Antrim murder

A man is due to appear in court tomorrow charged with murdering a man in Co Antrim 15 years ago.

The 45-year-old suspect is accused by detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) of killing Kevin Conway in February 1998.

The 30-year-old father-of-four was shot in the head and found in a derelict farmhouse near Aghalee, Co Antrim in February 1998.

Mr Conway was last seen two days earlier at his home in Deeny Drive, Lurgan, looking after his four-month-old child.

The man was arrested in England.

The charge follows a review of the original murder investigation.

The accused is due to appear at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court in the morning. Detectives have appealed for anybody with information to come forward.
