A man who was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the murder of Andrew Allen remains in Garda custody in Co Donegal on Wednesday morning.
The man in his 30s was arrested on Tuesday afternoon after being detained at Buncrana Garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
Andrew Allen (24) was shot dead at his home in Links View Park, Lisfannon, near Buncrana on February 9th, 2012.
Mr Allen was killed after gunmen arrived at his rented home and fired shots through his windows.
The group Republican Action Against Drugs claimed it killed Mr Allen, a father of two, because he was a drug dealer, a claim denied by his family.
Despite a number of arrests since the murder, no-one has been charged in connection with the killing.
