A man in his 50s has died following a three vehicle road collision in Co Donegal last night.

The man was driving his motorcycle when he was involved in an incident with two cars on the N13 at Lisfannon in Burt about 10.30pm.

Emergency services pronounced the man dead at the scene and his body was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital.

One of the drivers of the car, a man in his 30s, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The other driver was no injured.

The road is currently closed for allow for the Garda forensic collision investigators to examine the scene.
