Motorcyclist killed in Co Meath collision with tractor

A 20-year-old man has been killed after crashing into a tractor and trailer in Co Meath.

The man’s motorcycle collided with the tractor at about 3.30pm this afternoon at Tullaghanstown, Athboy.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to Navan Hospital. The driver of the tractor was not injured.

Gardaí had closed off a stretch of the road in order to allow for a full forensic examination of the scene but it has since reopened.
