Postmortem reveals Waterford death due to injuries from fall

Gardaí issue public appeal for information on 54-year-old’s movements prior to death

Gardaí investigating the discovery of the body of a 54-year-old man in Waterford have said he died from injuries sustained in a fall.

The man’s body was found at the rear of a house on Francis Street in the city on Thursday.

Garaí are appealing to the public information about his movements in the days leading up to his death but say they will not being releasing his name.

A postmortem showed that the man died from injuries sustained in a fall and gardaí say they are investigating all circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
