Police in Northern Ireland are investigating after the body of a man was found at a house in Greenisland, Co Antrim.

The PSNI said the body of a man in his 70s was discovered at a house in the Station Road area of Greenisland shortly before 9.30pm on Monday.

Three people have been arrested in connection with the investigation; one woman aged 29 and two men, aged 23 and 24. All three are in custody and are “assisting police with their enquiries,” according to the PSNI.

A postmortem examination is due to take place and detectives are investigating all circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
