Three arrested as €120,000 drugs haul seized in Dublin

Cannabis worth €100,000 and cocaine valued at €20,000 found during city searches

Gardaí netted an estimated €120,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis and arrested three people during searches in Dublin on Friday.

Members of the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau arrested two men, aged 35 and 49, after a planned search of a car on Camden Street yielded a large haul of cocaine thought to have a street value of €20,000.

Narcotics

In a follow-up operation, gardaí discovered cannabis with an estimated street value of €100,000 at a house in nearby Ranelagh.

A 27-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and was subsequently taken into custody at Irishtown Garda station.

Members of the South Central Crime Task Force and the Donnybrook Drugs Unit also assisted in the operations, aimed at tackling the sale and supply of narcotics in Dublin’s south inner city.
