Three men have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old man in Dublin in 2011.

Darren Cogan was drinking with a friend in a pub in Inchicore on June 25th that year when a gunman entered and fired a number of shots. Cogan died later that day at St James's Hospital.

A Garda spokesman said one man was arrested this morning and two others were arrested yesterday morning, all in the Dublin area.

They range in ages from their mid 20s to mid 30s and are being detained at Kilmainham and Kevin Street Garda stations under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.
