Three men have been arrested in Co Meath in connection with the discovery of drugs worth an estimated €700,000.
A quantity of cannabis herb was found in Rathkenny at around 3.30pm yesterday as part of an ongoing Garda investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in North East Leinster.
Three men aged 31, 35 and 44 were arrested. Heroin, tablets and more cannabis herb and resin found during follow-up searches. A large sum of cash was also seized by gardaí.
The arrested men are being detained at Kells and Navan Garda stations under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking), Act, 1996.
