Rolling tobacco worth about €46,000 has been seized by Revenue at Dublin Airport.

Three men aged 24, 38 and 40 were intercepted by Customs Service officials after arriving on a flight from Charleroi in Belgium yesterday evening.

Revenue’s tobacco detection dog Frankie gave an indication and 105.5kg of roll-your-own tobacco was discovered in their baggage.

The tobacco seized represents a potential loss to the Exchequer of €37,000, Revenue said.
