Trial of Graham Dwyer to begin next year

Architect from south Dublin is accused of murdering childcare worker Elaine O’Hara

A date next year has been set for the trial of south Dublin architect Graham Dwyer who is accused of murdering childcare worker Elaine O'Hara.

Mr Dwyer (41) of Kerrymount Close in Foxrock, is charged with the murder of Ms O’ Hara (37) in Co Dublin on August 22nd, 2012.

Ms O’ Hara’s remains were found in the Dublin mountains on September 13th, 2013.

Today, Sean Guerin SC prosecuting, told the Central Criminal Court the trial would take six weeks.

Remy Farrell SC defending told the court there may be further bail applications.

Mr Farrell said Mr Dwyer had been refused bail on a number of occasions.

Mr Justice Paul Carney set a trial date for April 13th, 2015.
