Volkswagen Passat, Audi A5 and laser taken during robbery in Rialto this morning

Two cars were stolen in Dublin in the early hours of this morning, one of which contained expensive medical equipment.

Gardaí have appealed for information about the robbery which occurred in Rialto between 1.15am and 7.30am.

A black Volkswagen Passat and a silver Audi A5 were taken during the incident.

One of the vehicles contained a Karl Storz Endoskope - Calculase II 20 W Holmium Laser, which gardaí described as "very expensive medical equipment".
